Elias Duarte is a PhD student in the IDI program at UC Berkeley in the Eva Harris Lab, where he studies antibody responses to dengue and Zika viruses. His research focuses on viral envelope proteins, fusion loop antibodies, and immune cross-reactivity to better understand how prior viral exposure shapes antibody recognition and disease outcomes.
