Bio
Claire Andrews (she/her) is a Master of Public Health student in the Infectious Disease and
Vaccinology track at the University of California, Berkeley. She earned her B.S. in Cellular and
Molecular Biology from Seattle University in 2023. Her undergraduate research at the Fred
Hutchinson Cancer Center focused on population-level antibody kinetics of respiratory viruses. Following graduation, she worked as a research associate at the University of California, San Diego, where she studied human milk oligosaccharides using molecular analysis and murine models. In addition to her research experience, Claire has engaged in community-based public health work, including case management at a homeless shelter in Skagit Valley and volunteering with a needle exchange program in San Diego. She is particularly interested in infectious disease prevention, maternal health, and strengthening science education and communication to support equitable, collaborative public health efforts in global settings.
