The Winoto lab is interested in the molecular mechanisms of cell death in the immune system in the context of cancer and autoimmune diseases. They use a combination of biochemical, molecular biological and mouse transgenic/gene targeting approaches in studies. The long-term goal of the Winoto lab is to understand the signal transduction pathways related to cell death in the immune system.
