National Academy of Sciences elects six Berkeley researchers to its ranks

UC Berkeley announced that six of its distinguished researchers have been elected to the National Academy of Sciences, one of the highest honors in science. Among them is CEND Affiliate Russell Vance, whose groundbreaking research has advanced the understanding of the innate immune system and how the body detects and responds to infection.
